RECENT SEA GAMES CHAMPIONS MEN FOOTBALL RESULTS

Sea Game (Southeast Asian Games), also known as the SEA Games (SEAG), is a biennial multi-sport event with the participation of 11 countries of Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Laos, Campuchia, Brunei, East Timor). 

The games are held under the regulation of the Southeast Asian Games Federation, supervised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Olympic Council of Asia. 

Six countries, Burma (now Myanmar), Kampuchea (now Cambodia), Laos, Malaya (now Malaysia), Thailand and Vietnam were the founding members. These countries agreed to hold the Games biennially in June 1959 and SEAP Games Federation Committee was formed thereafter.

The first SEA Games were organized in Bangkok from 12–17 December 1959, 527 athletes and officials from Thailand, Burma (now Myanmar), Malaya (now Malaysia), Singapore, South Vietnam, and Laos competing in 12 sports. Particularly, in football results, Vietnam excellently advanced to win the championship, beat Thailand with the final result 3-1 and became the first champion of Sea Games.

3. 1/ About Sea Game 30 Football Competition

From November 25 to December 10, 2019, the men's football tournament at the Southeast Asia Games 2019 was held in the Philippines. The locations of battles were at the Rizal Memorial Stadium and Biñan Stadium. The participants' age is from under 22 years old plus a maximum of 2 players over the age.

Thailand' U22 team is the present champion team but was eliminated from the group stage, which marked the third time in 10 years, Thailand's team name has been erased from the men's football group stage at the Southeast Asian Games.

U22 Vietnam brought glory again after the first-time success in 1959 to win Indonesia with the final result  3-0. This means  Vietnam has won the men's football at the Southeast Asian Games the second time.

Football competitions will be played at two locations. The Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila will be the main venue, while a number of matches will be held at the Biñan football stadium in Biñan, Laguna and Imus Grandstand City in Imus. 

3. 4 Final Results:


The Sea Game 30 Football Tournament 2019 ended with the victory belonging to Vietnam after defeating Indonesia with the final result 3-0. Malaysia and Cambodia respectively positioned the third and the fourth place.
